So, I was going to head to Starbucks (yes, I know that’s the ultimate sin, since I have such amazing coffee right here at home with Gano Cafe), because that’s where I usually go to get my Eggnog Latte.  Then I had an AMAZING realization!

I could make a homemade eggnog latte with GanoCafe – so not only would I get to have one of my favorite holiday treats – I would get an eggnog latte with health benefits.  WOW!

So I turned my car around, headed to the grocery store and bought some egg nog (and did you know it costs less to buy a whole quart of eggnog than it does to buy a single Starbucks Eggnog Latte?)

I got home and made the Best-Tasting Eggnog Latte ever!!!  So I’m excited to share my very simple homemade eggnog latte recipe with you!  (and if you don’t know about the “with benefits” part of our coffee, you’ve got to check this out)

Here’s How to Make An Eggnog Latte with GanoCafe…

Homemade Eggnog Latte Recipe

Step 1:  Get out your favorite coffee mug

Step 2:  Open a packet (also known as a sachet) of GanoCafe 3-in-1 and pour it into your favorite coffee mug

Step 3:  Boil up 6-8 oz of water (filtered water makes the coffee taste the best!) and pour it over the GanoCafe 3-in-1 powder – and leave some room for your eggnog

Step 4:  Pour in eggnog to taste

Step 5:  Enjoy your Homemade Eggnog Latte!

Variations on the Eggnog Latte Recipe

Low Calorie Eggnog Latte

Concerned about eggnog latte calories?  Here’s an option you can try… (I haven’t tried this personally – so I’d love to know how it turns out if you do try it!):

• Instead of the GanoCafe 3-in-1, use the GanoCafe Classic coffee which has only 10 calories in it
• Because the GanoCafe Classic coffee doesn’t already have any creamer or sweetener in it, you might want to add in some fat free half-and-half and a natural sweetener without calories like Stevia*
• Then for the eggnog, choose the Lite Eggnog
• And you have an Eggnog Latte with low eggnog latte calories!

*If you’re looking for a Stevia that tastes great and is not bitter, this is the Stevia you want to buy.

Eggnog Frappuccino Recipe

Even though we live in San Diego, it’s still a little cool here right now for me to want a Frappuccino, but if you live someplace really warm, an Eggnog Frappuccino might be just the thing for you!  (I haven’t tried this one personally either, but I’ve made AMAZING GanoCafe frappuccinos, and GanoCafe Mocha frappuccinos, so I know that this recipe will taste AWESOME!)

Ingredients you’ll need:

GanoCafe Classic coffee, Water, Half & Half, Ice, Agave Nectar (or some other form of sweetener), Eggnog (and you’ll need a blender too – although that’s not technically an ingredient!)

Step 1:  Boil a small amount of water – maybe 2-3 oz at the most.

Step 2:  Pour it into a small glass container or mug and mix in one packet of Ganocafe Classic coffee.

Step 3:  Put a generous amount of ice in your blender – approximately 1 to 1-1/2 cups worth

Step 4: Pour in some Half & Half (probably about 1 cup) and pour in the concentrated mixture of GanoCafe Classic coffee

Step 5: Add your sweetener (this one is just to taste – so you might need to adjust it as you go)

Step 6: Then pour in your eggnog (probably about 1/2 cup).

Step 7:  Blend until ice is frappuccino-like (you know, kind smooth, but still icy), pour into a tall glass, and ENJOY!

The amounts of everything can vary slightly, of course.  And you can substitute milk for half-and-half if that’s your preference.

Step 8:  Enjoy your Homemade Eggnog Latte!  (and if you find that you MUST share – you might want to double up the recipe!)
